	Spyware Removal Ability Ease of Use Customer Support

AdwareAlert is one of those programs that really look good on the outside but after digging below the surface a little bit (before testing it) we were left wondering exactly what it was able to do. The simple fact of the matter is, it is one of the more popular anti-spyware programs that exists on the Internet so we felt that there must be something to its abilities. How would this program stand up after we ran it through the paces?

What it Claims to Do:

The AdwareAlert website certainly is impressive, and it has a number of different claims that are similar to many of the claims that you see on other anti-spyware websites.

The program basically claims to be able to do three different things that will get your computer back up and running at the speed which you are looking for. It will scan your computer and look for any parasites that might be hiding, removing them permanently upon finding them. After clearing the computer of these problems, it looks for any errors that may have occurred as a result of bad code being written to the registry and other areas of the computer. Finally, they comes with a pop-up blocker, which is not necessarily something you would need if you do not have spyware.

What it Actually Does:

The program was surprisingly easy to install and it began scanning without a problem. It was able to identify many different spyware programs that were on our test PC, and it did a good job of cleaning them up. After allowing it to do its work and restarting our computer, we noticed an increase in the speed that Windows loaded and then our computer seemed to run more smoothly.

Because we had so many problems with pop up windows on our test computer, we didn't think that this program would be able to get rid of them all. As it turns out, we saw a 90% reduction in the amount of pop-ups, something that was certainly welcome. It would have been nice to see a 100% removal of these pop up windows, but it was certainly a step in the right direction.

Conclusion:

If you're having a problem with spyware and especially pop up windows, we would suggest that you download the scanner of AdwareAlert and see what it is able to find. It certainly is a tool that will help you to get part of your computer back, and it seems to do a good job of spyware recognition.

Although we recommend this program, it was not able to remove all of the problems on our test computer. Admittedly, we had some of the nastiest spyware on the computer and we did notice an improvement after running it. Bear this in mind whenever you try it for yourself.
